The Normal People Coalition is a nonprofit coalition of researchers committed to using AI to build an interpretable, quantitative, mechanistic understanding of biology and turn that understanding toward cures.
NPC brings researchers together around a shared belief that the possibilities of AI should translate into better lives. We put that belief into practice by investigating how biological systems work and what changes when disease develops.
Our current focus is diabetic peripheral neuropathy. We bring together perspectives from computational science, biology, medicine, and public health to connect molecular mechanisms with questions about nerve damage, prevention, and repair.
We value explanations whose reasoning is clear, whose predictions can be measured, and whose conclusions change when the evidence does. That commitment to understanding guides our long-term work toward cures for neurological disease.

Director
Brice leads NPC’s strategy and research mission. His background spans software development, consulting, and business operations. He is pursuing a PHD in Georgia Tech’s Quantitative Biosciences program, working to use AI to advance our understanding of neurological diseases.
